ABOUT THE ARTIST



Born and raised in Chicago USA, Ashley currently dances with the renown Scapino Ballet in the Netherlands.

Ashley is in her internship year at Codarts in Rotterdam, Netherlands, under the direction of Caroline Harder. Ashley was honored to have received advance placement into the second year of the program.

Ashley is a graduate of the Chicago Academy for the Arts in Chicago USA, where she trained with Randy Duncan, Patrick Simoniello, and Graca Sales. During her time at the Academy, she also trained for five years with Visceral Studio Company, the pre-professional program of Visceral Dance Chicago, under the direction of Nick Pupillo and Laura Wade.

Ashley was a member of YAGP International Contemporary Ensemble for the 2023-2024 season and performed the works of Ohad Naharin and Shahar Binyamini at the Lincoln Center in New York City.

Ashley has trained at various intensives, including Nederlands Dans Theater, BalletBC, Orsolina28 Summer Intensive, Orsolina28 Medhi Walerski Intensive, Arts Umbrella (two summers), Kaatsbaan Ballet Intensive, NYCDA Winter Intensive at the Juilliard School, Alonzo King Lines, Boston Ballet (two summers), Ballet West, and American Ballet Theater (ABT).

Ashley has worked with or performed the works of Crystal Pite, Ohad Naharin, Marco Goecke, Medhi Walerski, Sharon Eyal, Thomas van der Linden, Nanine Linning, Shahar Binyamini, Juliano Nunes, Akram Khan, Ethan Colangelo, Jian Hui Wang, Alexandra Damiani, Rafi Sady, Jorge Soler, Marc Boivin, Alice Klock, Florian Lochner, Andrew Mikhaiel, Carmen Rozestraten, Lukas Timulak, Madi Hicks, Robyn Williams, and Ching Ching Wong.

Ashley's accolades span both performance and creation.

As a creator, Ashley was selected for Stuttgart Ballet's Noverre: Young Choreographers 2025. She created "Ad Vitam Aeternam" on the Stuttgart Ballet, which premiered in Stuttgart, Germany in January 2025 before 3 sold out shows.

Ashley won first prize in the YAGP's inaugural Marcella Hymowitz Creative Followship Award for 2025. Her works will be featured at future YAGP galas.

Ashley was a semi-finalist in the 2026 International Solo Dance Theatre Festival in Stuttgart, Germany.

Ashley was recently selected to present her original work at the 13th Edition of Beta Publica in Sept 2026 in Madrid, Spain.

As a performer, Ashley received over 30 first place overall awards for her solo and duet works at various regional competitions with Visceral Studio Company.

Ashley is a 3-time top 3 finalist at YAGP semi-finals and a 4-time top 12 finalist.

Ashley has trained in nearly every dance genre and has been training en pointe since age 12. Her early and diverse exposure to varied styles of dance from renowned choreographers, has allowed her to experiment in her own brand of movement founded upon the art of storytelling.
